Is This Love by Whitesnake is one of the classics of the 80’s. I was born in the early 90’s, so the first time I heard this song would have been around ten years after it was released. I’m presuming I heard it on one of the cassettes my dad used to play in the car. My mum being a big fan of Guns N’ Roses meant it was inevitable that I’d fall in love with the ‘rock’ genre. I realise now that I only have two Whitesnake songs on my iPod, so I might just have to listen to some more of their music.

Not only do I love the instrumental track, I love David Coverdale’s voice. He has so much power when he sings, but he looks like he makes barely any effort. I wish I could sing this song in tune, but I really struggle with how low it is. I can’t really sing that high either, so I’m more of the mid-range singer. None of which helps with this song.
