Here’s my 2015 list of films/ concerts that I have been to. I’ll even let you know which were my most and least favourite.
This has been an incredible year for me. Not only have I worked super hard to be rewarded with a great job, I’ve also grown in confidence too. If 2016 is as great as 2015, I’ll be a happy girl!
Here’s my list:
- 50 Shades of Grey (… don’t you dare judge me)
- Nathan Sykes Solo Tour
- The Avengers 2
- Pitch Perfect 2
- Jurassic World
- Terminator Genysis
- Inside Out
- Bend It Like Beckham (Theatre Production)
- Mockingjay Part 2
- Counterfeit at the O2 Academy
My least favourite… Insurgent probably. I just didn’t feel that engaged with the film or the characters. It may not help that the ending of the third film has been spoiled for me. I probably won’t go and see the next film in the cinema – I’ll wait for the DVD.
Seeing Counterfeit also wasn’t on the top of the list. The support acts were great, especially DEAD!, you should check them out by the way. Jamie Campbell Bower seemed to be putting on an act on stage and I didn’t like it. No-one wants to hear the ‘C’ word shouted out at a concert, or to be spat on by the lead singer…
My favourites have got to be Nathan Sykes (obviously) and Mockingjay. (Bend It Like Beckham too!) I got to meet Nathan and have a picture with him. I think that’s enough of an explanation!
Mockingjay was just amazing. A certain characters death had me sobbing – I’m not exaggerating either. My sister was actually worried at one point. Not sure I’ll ever be able to watch it again without having an emotional breakdown.
I got tickets to see Busted in May next year, so I’m guessing that will be on my favourites for next year!
At the end of my 2014 post, i said this: “Two things on my list for next year: get a car and self-publish book 2 in the ‘Liliana’ series (once I’ve finished writing it!)”
I am glad to say that I accomplished one of these goals – I got my car! I’m still working on the book though.
Goals for 2016:
- Finish writing and publish ‘Mourning Memories‘
- Save up a £10,000 deposit for a mortgage (wish me luck with that one!)
- Go out and socialise a bit more
- Dress more like a girl (you’ll see what I mean soon haha!)
Until the next time,
